Daly’s Traffic has provided our vast array of experienced traffic management services to a number of major projects around Melbourne’s CBD and surrounding suburbs. Some of these projects have included:
CBD Security Project:
The CBD electrical security project ran for over 3 years and included various traffic management treatments to facilitate trenching for electrical cabling from Melbourne’s CBD to North Melbourne, through Carlton, Fitzroy and Brunswick. This included a number of major road closures along some of Melbourne’s major arterials.
Plenty Road Gas Mains Renewal Project:
The Plenty Road Gas Main Renewal Project has been running for over 3 months along one of Melbourne’s suburbs busiest roadways. This project, being completed at night, stretched over 2 km along Plenty Road, Bundoora and included dual lane closures and various side street closures to facilitate the upgrade of high pressure gas mains.
Metro Rail Tunnel:
Daly’s Traffic worked closely with various stakeholders and other parties on a number of occasions to assist with the relocation of major utility assets including gas and electrical supplies, for the current Metro Rail Tunnel Project. The projects ran for close to 12 months and were completed during both day and night, attempting to minimise disruption to the public and residents. This project was located in one of Melbourne’s most highly trafficked areas for vehicles and pedestrians, being in front of the Melbourne Baths and RMIT University.
